The live tool turret, the core of the mill-turn machine, features a 12-station servo drive, driven by spiral bevel gears or toothed belts, and can accommodate 6 to 12 live tool positions.
The C-axis indexing accuracy and turret indexing precision ensure angular and positional accuracy of milled features.
The live tools are driven by independent servo motors with a maximum speed range of 3,000 to 6,000 rpm.
The turret offers exceptional indexing accuracy and rapid tool changes, with tool changes between adjacent stations taking only 0.2 to 0.5 seconds.
The standard CNC system is a GSK mill-turn system, but high-end CNC systems from Siemens, FANUC, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi are also recommended for seamless C-axis and live tool synchronization.
The machine boasts positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm, repeatability of ±0.003 mm, and C-axis indexing accuracy down to the second level, ensuring the machine can perform high-precision mill-turn machining.
